Mini Viva

Hailed being a modern-day Mel & Kim, English pop duo Mini Viva will be the most recent protégées from the hugely successful Xenomania production group. Managed by Simon Fuller, the set created in 2008 once they both performed for the songwriters behind Ladies Aloud at their studios in Kent. Frankie Connolly, from Lancaster, was scouted through her MySpace web page while Britt Like, from Newcastle, made a decision to audition after viewing a promotional flyer at a breakdancing competition. Bonding more than a love from the Spice Ladies, the duo relocated to London, where they spent weeks co-writing material that they explain as “pop having a quirky advantage.” After carrying out in a variety of underground clubs in order to hone their live audio, the band backed the Saturdays on the U.K. tour. Their debut solitary, “I Remaining My Center in Tokyo,” that your NME tagged “the catchiest solitary of the entire year,” reached quantity seven in the U.K. graphs. Authorized to Geffen Information, their debut recording arrives for launch in November 2009.
