Mindi Abair

Born in tour right into a music family members, Mindi Abair was using piano by age five. Within 3 years, she was playing saxophone and composing songs. She produced her method through Berklee executing all sorts of music from jazz to rock and roll and R&B. Upon shifting back to LA, Abair began her own music group. She also required on session use artists as varied as the Space Music group, Adam Sandler, Mandy Moore, John Tesh, Teena Marie, as well as the Backstreet Kids. During this time period, she done creating her personal audio and released her debut disk in 1999. The Backstreet Kids connection really paid on her behalf, and her website and Compact disc (entitled Like) became popular. In March of 2015, she documented a live recording, Mindi Abair & the Boneshakers: Reside in Seattle. Her support band is in fact an all-star, standalone touring and documenting unit which includes previous Was (Not really Was) users Randy Jacobs on acoustic guitar and vocalist Nice Pea Atkinson. The recording was released the next Sept by Concord.
