Mild High Club

The Mild Great Membership is a psychedelic pop group helmed by Alexander Brettin, a Los Angeles-based musician who originally hailed from Chicago. The group’s sound is certainly pleasantly woozy and laid-back, but displays a subtle focus on detail without having to be extreme or indulgent. Brettin started focusing on Mild Great Club materials in 2012 by himself, using guitars, keyboards, computer systems, and a four-track recorder, and shuttling between Chicago, Baltimore, and LA. On the way, he fulfilled several musicians over the country who added to his recording and supported him up during live gigs. Mild Large Club authorized to Stones Toss by the end of 2014, and a 7″ solitary, “Windowpane,” premiered in early 2015. The group’s debut recording, Timeline, appeared later on in the entire year around the label’s newly created Circle Star Information imprint. A 12 months later, Stones Toss released the group’s even more ambitious sophomore full-length, Skiptracing.
