Mike Shannon

Mike Shannon began his techno profession within the Toronto area like a DJ before eventually moving to Montreal, where he flourished like a producer through the early 2000s. Shannon was raised in Kitchener, Ontario, and started DJing at age group 12 when his dad bought him his 1st mixer. Periodic excursions to close by Detroit, where he’d buy information and attend celebrations, spurned his fascination with techno as an adolescent. Shannon became a specialist techno DJ around 1993 roughly and began advertising events in addition to carrying out at them. Toward the past due ’90s, he broadened his reach from Kitchener to Toronto, where he got a Friday-night residency in the fabled Market golf club in 1999 and released Cynosure Recordings that same yr.
