Mike Rudd & The Heaters

b New Zealand. Rudd relocated to Australia using the Chants R‘N’B in 1966. In 1968 he became a member of another very similar combo, Party Machine, filled with future associates of Daddy Great. This band advanced into an ‘underground’ experimental music group – the short-lived Sons FROM THE Vegetal Mom in 1969. Developing his own music group Range that same calendar year, Rudd teamed up with long-term collaborator, bass participant Costs Putt, and composed a lot of the materials. Rudd led the music group (and their alter-ego, Murtceps), through the blues orientated large rock and roll music period in Australia during 1971-73. Next emerged Ariel (1973-74), a music group which was a far more incredible spectacle comprising odd and wonderful outfits, incredible light displays and smoke cigarettes bombs. Quick Reply implemented (1978-79), who afterwards transformed their name towards the Heating units. As trends transformed, the Heating units become Rudd’s post punk, brand-new wave music group, touring often during 1979-1982 however, not attaining any commercial achievement with Unrealist. Rudd briefly came back to his root base using the Living Star Blues Band, eventually developing W.H.Con. in 1983, which toured and documented in Germany, and was a far more experimental outfit, simply because was the very similar Mike Rudd’s Simply no. 9. He today performs in the Suburban Blues Music group, a good-time cover music group. He later on briefly re-formed Range in early 1990. His music, ‘I’ll Be Eliminated’, documented by Spectrum, continues to be probably one of the most recognizable Australian strikes of the first 70s.
