Mike McGear

Mike McGear is in fact Paul McCartney’s sibling; he transformed his name in the mid-’60s soon after the Beatles become well-known, not desperate to be regarded as operating Paul’s coattails. He was an associate from the Scaffold, who documented some fairly effective comedy rock produces in the past due ’60s (their “Give thanks to U QUITE DEFINITELY” and “Lily Green” singles had been big British strikes). In 1974, he documented a solo record with a lot of help from Paul, who composed or co-wrote virtually all the music and sang back-up; fellow Wings Linda McCartney, Denny Laine, and Jimmy McCullough also enjoy and sing. The record, which unsurprisingly recalled Wings, enticed some critical see, but sold badly.
