Mike Henderson

Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Mike Henderson carved a distinct segment for himself like a program guitarist over time within the Nashville studio room picture before he began saving under his own name along with his own blues music group, the Bluebloods. He started playing mandolin and relocated from Missouri to Nashville. Qualified like a mandolin participant and flat-top guitarist, he quickly found function in the Nashville studio room scene like a slip guitarist. Henderson’s albums within the Deceased Reckoning label consist of Edge of Night time (1994), First Bloodstream (1996), and Oakland Blues (1998). Henderson runs on the stellar lineup of assisting musicians on Initial Bloodstream — Reese Wynans, Glenn Worf, and John Gardner — rendering it one of the better (and regrettably most forgotten) produces of 1996. Collectively, these music artists have documented and performed with John Hiatt, Emmylou Harris, Kevin Welch, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tag Knopfler, Lonnie Mack, Aaron Neville, Larry Carlton, Johnny Money, Al Kooper, Tracy Nelson, Rory Stop, Sonny Burgess, and Delbert McClinton. The music group got some radio interest on its second launch for their music “Pay out Bo Diddley,” a music that tackled the inequities in U.S. record royalty laws and regulations. And in addition, First Bloodstream was recorded within the studio room in Nashville over two times, with virtually all the tunes being documented on the very first take without overdubs. The music group lends their very own spin to traditional blues materials like Sonny Boy Williamson’s “Therefore Sad to become Lonesome,” J.B. Hutto’s “Hip Shakin’,” and Hound Puppy Taylor’s “Provide Me Back again My Hairpiece.”
