Midland

Texan trio Midland fuse components of clean ’80s nation and wistful ’70s basic rock having a tuneful pop sensibility. The music group shaped out of some picking classes at bassist Cameron Duddy’s wedding ceremony in Jackson Opening, Wyoming when he, vocalist Tag Wystrach, and guitarist Jess Carson found out an instantaneous musical chemistry. Acquiring inspiration through the Eagles, Dwight Yoakam, George Strait, and Gary Stewart, the three close friends relocated to Tx and recorded some paths at Sonic Ranch Studios that ultimately resulted in a cope with Nashville titans Big Machine Information. Producing their label debut in 2016 having a self-titled EP, Midland showcased their warm, harmonic mix and hook-filled songwriting on tracks like “Drinkin’ Issue” and “BURN UP.”
