Michele Pasotti

Michele Pasotti can be an Italian multi-instrumentalist who specializes in performing middle ages music around the lute, theorbo, Baroque acoustic guitar, and other devices. He analyzed lute with Massimo Lonardi and went to masterclasses led by Hopkinson Smith, Paul O’Dette, and Tiziano Bagnati. He specific in Italian Baroque music and Renaissance counterpoint in the Accademia Internazionale della Musica in Milan, dealing with Laura Alvini and Diego Fratelli. As students in structure and viewpoint, Pasotti worked in the beginning in Italy, but he is becoming known internationally for his shows along with his late-medieval ensemble, La Fonte Musica. Pasotti offers appeared in collaboration with Claudio Abbado, Giovanni Antonini, Monica Huggett, Nathalie Stutzmann, Barthold Kuijken, Mario Brunello, as well as others, and offers performed at such locations as the Concertgebouw, the Theater des Champs-Elysésera, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, and La Fenice.
