Michel Lambert

Juno Award being successful drummer Michel Lambert, although recognized mainly for his colorful and innovative method of the instrument, has a significant strong background in classical and jazz structure. A lot of his jazz comp ositions have already been documented for broadcast by CBC Radio in Canada. In 1992, Lambert’s structure “Extraits du Journal des Shows” received a premiere functionality at the brand new Music Celebration in Winnipeg with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. Being a drummer, Lambert provides documented and performed with significant Canadian jazz performers like Dave Teen, Don Thompson, Sonny Greenwich, Herbie Spanier, Ed Bickert, and Reg Schwager. Since 1982, different tasks brought Lambert to European countries, across Canada, america, and Asia. A few of these tasks led to shows with Marcus Belgrave, Pat LaBarbera, Julian Priester, Mike Nock, Peter Appleyard, Ted Curson, Charlie Haden, John Zorn, John Tchicai, David Torn, and Mick Karn, and the like.
