Michael Stern

The son of violinist Isaac Stern, Michael Stern can be an American conductor. He analyzed conducting with Maximum Rudolf on the Curtis Institute of Music, which he implemented up with classes at the LA Philharmonic Institute as well as the Pierre Monteux Memorial College. In 1986, Stern auditioned for the Cleveland Orchestra, where he offered as helper conductor from 1987 to 1991. He was the long lasting guest conductor from the Orchestre Country wide de Lyon until 1996, when he was called chief conductor from the Saarbrücken Radio Symphony Orchestra, and he toured with this ensemble to Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, and China. An expert in contemporary and modern American music, Stern founded and conducts the IRIS Orchestra within this repertoire, aswell as showing up with major UNITED STATES orchestras in traditional symphonic fare. During this time period, Stern also visitor executed many orchestras internationally. In 2005, Stern recognized a scheduled appointment as music movie director from the Kansas Town Symphony, while carrying on his concerts using the IRIS Orchestra. He provides documented for Naxos, Avie, Col Legno, and Guide Recordings.
