Michael Parrish

The country-blues unit the Michael Parrish Music group was made up of singer/guitarist/keyboardist Parrish, guitarists Chris Hansen and Jonny Sheehan, bassist Joe Engravalle, and drummer Tommy Kaelin. A Bay Region native, Parrish journeyed to Chicago to tenure because the pianist for blues vocalist B.B. Odum before, on the urging of manufacturer and folklorist Tim Duffy, shifting to NEW YORK to donate to some blues field recordings later on released because the Music Manufacturer label’s audiophile blues series. After touring with famous brands Acoustic guitar Gabriel and Big Boy Henry, Parrish also made an appearance on seven paths within the 1995 LP A FULL TIME INCOME History: The Music Manufacturer Patron Sampler, adopted later that yr by Came UP TO NOW and Acoustic guitar Gabriel, Vol. 1. He and Duffy also teamed like a folk duo, the Puritans. After touring to get Automobility, his 1995 debut single work (self-released on his Geographic Information label), Parrish came back to NEW YORK, where he shaped a band made up of former SPOUSE people Hansen and Engraville, onetime Hatters drummer Kaelin, and periodic songwriter Sheehan; after issuing their 1997 disk Beautiful Stones, the Michael Parrish Music group played several times within the H.O.R.D.E. tour.
