Michael Lang

Because of his busy plan within the studios, Michael Lang didn’t record his 1st solo recording until 1994, following a lot more than 30 years while a specialist pianist. He graduated through the College or university of Michigan in 1963, used Paul Horn (1964-1965), and moved to LA and started employed in the studios. Lang caused Stan Kenton’s Neophonic Orchestra (1966), Don Ellis (1967), and Tom Scott (1968) and documented with John Klemmer, Milt Jackson, Ella Fitzgerald, Lee Konitz, Artwork Pepper, Sarah Vaughan, and many more, mostly beyond jazz. Mike Lang constantly performed jazz locally on an intermittent basis and lastly in 1994 arrived with his personal album, jazz remedies of Henry Mancini tracks for Varese Sarabande.
