Vocalist/songwriter Michael Johnathon sought to see the folk custom in its purest, moving from NY to rural Mousie, Kentucky through the early 1980s to roam the Appalachians along with his electric guitar and banjo at hand, honing his build performing at institutions and fairs through the entire region. Furthermore to touring with performers including Judy Collins, Billy Dean and David Gates, Johnathon also released several recordings, including Troubador, Assassins within the Kingdom, Dreams of Fireplace and the Compact disc/reserve collection WoodSongs.
