Michael Hofstetter

Michael Hofstetter is a German conductor, noted for his shows in authentic period design. He studied in the Richard Strauss Conservatory in his hometown of Munich, focusing on body organ, piano, and performing. Employed in theaters in Wiesbaden and Giessen, he started conducting operatic shows, furthermore to teaching in the Johannes Gutenberg University or college in Mainz. He received the Robert Stolz Medal for his efforts to operetta, though his opera repertoire operates from Handel and Hasse to Wagner and Verdi. Hofstetter spent some time working with the main opera businesses and productions all over the world, like the Hamburg Condition Opera, the Bavarian Condition Opera, the Stuttgart Opera, the German Opera Berlin, the Staatstheater Hannover, the Gran Teatre del Liceu of Barcelona, the British Country wide Opera, the Welsh Country wide Opera, the Houston Grand Opera, the Canadian Opera Organization, as well as the Salzburg Celebration.
