Michael Barrett

Michael Barrett began his music profession seeing that the drummer and songwriter in Guppyboy, a Burlington, VT, music group formed on the School of Vermont in 1991. Guppyboy relocated to NEW YORK and reformed as the Essex Green. In the Essex Green, Barrett has bass and stocks singing/songwriting responsibilities. He in addition has toured and documented using the Ladybug Transistor (Merge Information) as well as the 6th Great Lake (Kindercore Information). Michael Barrett brought his debut single record, Couches And Floor covering, (Planting Seeds Information) in the entire year 2001. Like fellow New Englander’s the Mendoza Series, Michael Barrett brings us guy/gal vocals and a clear love and understanding of pop music out of every 10 years.
