A classically-trained teacher of music in the University or college of European Sydney, Michael Atherton is most beneficial known for his heavily-textural compositions. While his debut recording, “Windshift”, released in 1994 presented the atmospheric noises of his skillet pipes and skillet flute, his many ambitious starting was a protracted piece in line with the historic music of Egypt that he made up for a Country wide Museum exhbition in 1998.
