Merriment

Indie pop music group with passionate folky tendencies Merriment were shaped by Christie and Collin DuPree, both youngest users of an extremely music family. Hailing from Tyler, Tx, four older associates from the DuPree family members formed the music group Eisley, touring thoroughly with their sugary indie pop. Younger sister Christie would stick to within their footsteps, initial recording her very own bedroom melodies while still in her early teenagers before getting into the studio this year 2010 to focus on an untitled EP of her very own music. This EP resulted in an opening i’m all over this tour for Eisley, where she was followed on-stage by Collin on electric guitar. Following this tour, both decided it better to type a music group around these music, and Merriment had been born, quickly placing to focus on their 2012 EP, Through the Tough. The band’s basic and whimsical folk noises had been embraced by supporters of Eisley among others, plus they toured thoroughly to get the EP while functioning toward composing their next materials. Merriment released several singles and movies before their debut full-length, Sway, materialized in Apr of 2014.
