Though its members individually boast an array of tastes (from jazz to folk to hardcore), it had been a typical love of middle-’90s alternative rock acts like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden that brought collectively Flagstaff, AZ-based Mercy Fall in the first 2000s. Made up of vocalist Nate Rock, guitarist Jeff Lusby, bassist Kieran Smiley, and drummer Ethan Rea, the quartet worked well hard over 2 yrs to form their eyesight of bringing center, inspiration, and feelings to their selection of hard rock and roll. Recorded demos ultimately landed the people a cope with Atlantic Information, and springtime 2005 was spent crafting their mystic debut full-length with maker Howard Benson (P.O.D., My Chemical substance Love). For the Used was issued in-may 2006; following tour times with rings like Shinedown, Trapt, and Seether adopted.
