Men Without Slacks is a loose task from Dan “The Automator” Nakamura (Dr. Octagon, Gorillaz, Attractive Boy Modeling College) and Russell Simins (Butter 08, Small Barrie, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion). Both became close friends in 1998 when Nakamura do some production focus on the Blues Explosion recording Acme. Nevertheless, it got until 2006 for Males Without Pants to become reality, because of the Japanese launch from the group’s self-titled debut recording. The Mooney Suzuki’s Sammy Wayne, Jr. and Nick Zinner through the Yeah Yeah Yeahs had been two from the guests within the varied recording, which was entitled Royal Highness best up towards the last second. In early 2008, the American indie label Development Team Information reissued the recording with a couple of previously unheard reward tracks.
