When Brian Jackson remaining the indie underground music group I Am Spoonbender in springtime 2000, he yearned for a far more meaningful, concrete task. Luckily, he fulfilled singer and visible designer Phoenix Perry. Both had been attending a skill exhibition for digital pioneer Morton Subotnick in the Fish pond Gallery in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, so instantly a peerless set is at the producing. In Feb 2001, Jackson and Perry combined their suggestions of “post-futurism” and created the obscure techno/electro-wave take action Memory space Systems. Their eight-song debut, Advertisement Positioning for the Collective Unconscious, was self-released on Memory space Systems’ personal label, Form Information, in 2002.
