Talented pianist José Manuel Solis, also called Meme Solis, began monitoring music at an extremely early age in Santa Clara, Cuba, producing his debut while playing for well-known singer Olga Guillot. Later on, he teamed up with Fernando Albuerne, documenting his 1st record along with Elena Burke. Furthermore, Solis became the sponsor of the air display A Solas Contigo (Just With You), developing his personal vocal group Un Cuarteto Meme Solis in the first ’70s. On July 9, 1988, José Manuel Solis debuted in the U.S., while playing at a little location in Miami.
