Formed in ’09 2009, SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA indie pop group Melted Playthings initially began like a task between high-school friends Daniel Rosado, Steven Harkins, and Brian Wakefield. After tinkering with different configurations, they resolved on the two-guitar, bass, and drum machine set up both in the studio room and live. Carrying out a display at San Francisco’s Ever Yellow metal Gallery, the music group was contacted by Bay Region indie Underwater Individuals, for whom they documented their debut EP, 2011’s Cleaned & Dried. Using their uncommon melodic acoustic guitar parts and vaguely jangle pop appear, the music group drew evaluations to English cult favorites Thought. Shortly after Cleaned & Dried’s launch, they enlisted drummer Ole Haarstad, completing their lineup. The music group began focusing on a full-length follow-up, but had been delayed for several reasons. The original materials for their recording was contained on the notebook that was unintentionally lost on the city teach by among the bandmembers. The music group regrouped, shifting to LA, while vocalist/guitarist Steven Harkins spent an interval vacationing in China and Japan, where he composed a lot of the materials that could end through to their long-awaited debut. Released in July 2014, their self-titled debut record was blended by Rusty Santos (Pet Collective, Panda Keep).
