Meltdown

Meltdown is a five-piece music group formed by ex-Yardbirds drummer Jim McCarty. Previously in charge of writing epochal tracks for the second option music group, including ‘Styles Of Issues’, ‘Still I’m Sad’ and ‘Over Under Sideways Down’, McCarty began Meltdown in the 90s as an avenue for full-blooded R&B, combining original materials with blues classics compiled by Freddie Ruler, Johnny Winter season, Peter Green as well as others. The cast list behind Meltdown was certainly amazing; Ray Majors (acoustic guitar, vocals) was previously with Mott The Hoople as well as the Uk Lions, and experienced previously caused McCarty within Package Of Frogs in 1984. Then became a member of the drummer’s pre-Meltdown combo, the McCarty Music group, for live function, replacing Best Topham. Sam Johnson provides Meltdown with expressive slip acoustic guitar, though he was still an adolescent at the music group’s inception. Despite his sensitive years he previously already caused Pete Hogman from the Five Sizes and Dick Taylor from the Pretty Points. The additional youngster in the music group is keyboard participant Steve Corley, a jazz prodigy from your Royal Academy Of Music. Feminine bass participant/vocalist Nikki Racklin experienced already recorded single and opened displays for Nude Truth and Wayne.
