Paris-based musician Melody Prochet worked in a variety of bands prior to starting Melody’s Echo Chamber in 2012 following possessing a dream the acoustics of her bedroom projected an infinite delay. No stranger to overall performance, Prochet had currently caused the twee pop Narcoleptic Dancers as well as the dreamy My Bee’s Backyard, a task she was quite definitely central to. When My Bee’s Backyard supported Australian acoustic guitar rockers Tame Impala on the European tour this year 2010, Prochet bonded with Kevin Parker, who wanted to help with creation of her fresh solo materials as Melody’s Echo Chamber. Both worked well quickly, with some components of the project’s lushly dreamy tunes documented in Parker’s makeshift studio room plus some laid down in her grandmother’s seaside house in the south of France. The self-titled recording premiered on Unwanted fat Possum Information in nov 2012 and Prochet set up a live music group to complete her solo music as programs for travels and live shows started accumulating.
