Melody Pool

An Australian singer and songwriter whose tracks are in the melodic pop-folk confessional vein of California songwriters Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne, Melody Pool grew up in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales. She crowd-funded her separately released debut record, The Hurting Picture, which was documented in Nashville with manufacturers Jace Everett and Brad Jones. The record garnered important acclaim, and Pool therefore agreed upon with Mushroom Music Posting and Liberation Music, which re-released The Harming Picture in July of 2013.
