The Dutch bandleader and composer arranged for Benny Goodman and Andre Kostelanetz in the ‘30s. He’s maybe best-known for having made up (with Arthur William Halifax) the favorite tune “Cent Serenade,” that was documented by Man Lombardo’s music group and Nat Gonella, amongst others. Weersma analyzed piano in his youngsters and performed in Dutch and German rings from the middle ‘20s. He created a group known as the Red, White colored and Blue Aces in 1934. In 1935 he relocated to London and organized for Jack port Hylton; later on that 12 months he relocated to Chicago and caused Goodman and Kostelanetz. He resided and worked well in Argentina from the past due ‘30s, then relocated back to holland after retiring from music.
