Younger siblings from the Fugees’ Wyclef Jean, the sister-brother duo of Melky and Sedeck Jean were born in Brooklyn, the merchandise of the Haitian-American family; their dad was an ordained minister who led a congregation in NJ, and the kids frequently performed gospel music at his cathedral. While Melky afterwards studied traditional music, Sedeck went to law college, but played within a band privately; both quit university in 1993, nevertheless, and 2 yrs later documented their debut work “I’ve Got a Appreciate, ” later highlighted in the soundtrack towards the film Appreciate Jones.
