Melissa Monroe

b. Melissa Katherine Monroe, 1936, USA, d. Dec 1990, USA. Little girl of Costs Monroe. A vocalist, songwriter and instrumentalist, Monroe toured with her dad’s roadshow through the 40s, 50s and 60s. She produced some single recordings, including ‘End, Look And Pay attention’, ‘You Guideline My Center’, ‘Peppermint Sticks And Lemon Drops’, ‘Sea Of Tears’, for Columbia Information in the first 50s, but didn’t achieve any graph success. She could be noticed singing ‘Fantasizing Of JUST A LITTLE Cabin’ and ‘Appreciate’s Gonna Live Right here’ over the compilation Costs Monroe And His Blue Lawn Children: Live At Technicians Hall documented in 1963 and released on Acoustic Disk in 2004.
