McEnroe

Inspired by famous brands Talk Speak, Blue Nile, as well as the Smiths, Spanish indie pop outfit McEnroe had been shaped in Vizcaya in 2002 by Ricardo Lezón (vocals, bass), Gonzalo Eizaga (guitar), Jaime Guzmán (guitar), and Eduardo Guzmán (drums), while Pablo Isusi (bass) became a member of in 2008. After their 1st demos gained McEnroe some achievement in local skill contests, they individually released their debut recording, Un Sur de Mi Vida (2003). McEnroe continued producing self-distributed EPs in near obscurity until 2007, if they managed to appeal to Subterfuge Information, the esteemed Spanish indie label. The sweeping melancholy of their three albums for Subterfuge, Mundo Marino (2008), Tú Nunca Morirás (2009), and Todas las Orillas (2012), provides fulfilled with glowing testimonials from the specific press.
