MC Shy D

Biography

MC Timid D (given birth to Peter Jones) may be the Bronx-born cousin of Afrika Bambaataa. He started on Luther Campbell’s label in 1987 with Surely got to Become Hard and Comin’ Right in ’88. After yet another record (1989’s Don’t Perspiration Me), he experienced a low fat period but rebounded in 1993 using the Comeback. It had been a far more artistically ambitious launch, with more modern production along with a low fat, refined rapping design. Another lengthy hiatus preceded the looks of Recordnize, offering DJ Smurf.
