MC Mario

Canada’s leading DJ, Montreal-based MC Mario launched to mainstream popularity via his myriad remix compilations and long-running syndicated radio applications. Created Mario Tremblay, he 1st surfaced through the past due ’70s using the group Zinthetyzër, rating strikes including 1982’s “Green Onion” and 1984’s “Money-Money.” Around once he also released his 1st DJ mixes, included in this Downtown Zero. 1 and Sizzling Dish No. 6. By the first ’90s Tremblay proved helpful beneath the alias MC Mario Mastermind, putting your signature on to the product quality Music label for some compilations including 1993’s Back again to Essentials and 1995’s KING-SIZE. After a short stint with Polytel, in 1997 he agreed upon to Sony, so that as MC Mario produced some best-sellers like 1999’s ’99 in sunlight, 2001’s MC Mario.com, and 2005’s Sunlight Stock, Vol. 6. In 2003, MC Mario gained a Juno Prize nomination for “ALL OF THAT I LOVE” — he also crossed over into mainstream radio along with his every week series The Mixdown as well as the Party Combine, and was called a member from the Canadian Dance Hall of Popularity. Via Sony-BMG Music, MC Mario founded his very own label, Tycoon Information, and he co-owns the Montreal nightspot Membership 1234.
