Maya Barsony

Maya Barsony is a France pop singer/songwriter who experienced some business achievement in 2008 with her debut album on Sony BMG. The half-sister of French pop superstar Arthur D, she produced her full-length debut in 2001 using the eponymous record Barsony on EMI. The record was pretty unsuccessful from a industrial standpoint, however, and she was eventually dropped with the label. Many years afterwards Barsony signed to a new main label, Sony BMG, and relaunched her documenting career using the full-length record Femme d’Extérieur (2008). More lucrative than her initial album, though still lacking mainstream breakthrough achievement, Femme d’Extérieur was marketed using the business lead one, “La Pompe ? Diesel,” that was released digitally being a multi-track EP.
