German pop singer Maxim began performing music soon after college, singing in a variety of bands and finally settling in Cologne, where he met his longtime producer Teka. Intensely inspired by reggae beats and designs, he agreed upon with Cologne-based root base label Rootdown Information release a his self-titled debut in 2005. Along with his steady voice and sun-drenched beats, his debut proceeded to go over well and he begun to catch the attention of a pursuing. He continued to build up this reggae-influenced formulation on 2008’s Rückwärts Fallen but begun to skew even more toward what he known as metropolitan pop along with his 2011 discharge, Asphalt.
