Maurício Manieri

Intimate soul singer awarded as the Revelation of the entire year in 2000 on the seventh Multishow Music Awards, Maurício Manieri worked in the first ’90s using the duo of DJs Thaíde e DJ Hum and with the road dance group Unidade Móvel. Being a keyboardist, he caused Alexia, Increase You, Undercover, and Lifestyle Beat. His initial solo Compact disc, A Noite Inteira (1998), marketed 350,000 copies and within the next calendar year had the monitor “Bem-Querer” included on the soundtrack of Television Globo’s Vila Madalena cleaning soap opera. Having been included on the compilation Compact disc Todas as Garotas de Ipanema along with his interpretetion of “Garota de Ipanema” (Tom Jobim/Vinícius de Moraes), in 2000 he was asked to record the Brazilian edition for the Elton John music from the soundtrack of Dreamworks’ cartoon movie THE STREET to Un Dorado, having acquired the results accepted by John.
