Maurice Evans

b. 3 June 1901, Dorchester, Dorset, Britain, d. 12 March 1989, Rottingdean, East Sussex, Britain. Starting out being a vocalist, while still extremely youthful Evans performed in productions of has compiled by his dad, an novice playwright. From 1926 he was a specialist acting professional and in 1929 obtained a great achievement with Trip’s End. In the first 30s he produced some looks in films and in addition joined up with the Aged Vic organization. By mid-decade he was on Broadway, generally in Shakespearean functions. Through succeeding years he made several stage appearances, more often than not in dramatic functions, and also made an appearance occasionally in movies. In these same years he was also noticed on tv, including showing up in the problem comedy Bewitched. He also performed in shows of THE PERSON From U.N.C.L.E. , Batman, Tarzan, The Roads Of SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, Fantasy Island as well as the Love Vessel. Among his movies are The Tale Of Gilbert And Sullivan (1953, where he performed Arthur Sullivan), Rosemary’s Baby (1968), and he was Dr Zaius in World FROM THE Apes (1968) and UNDER THE Planet FROM THE Apes (1970).
