Maura Kennedy

Delivered Maura Boudreau in Syracuse NY, singer/songwriter Maura Kennedy spent her formative years exploring every element of rock and roll & move, dabbling in punk, rock, roots rock and roll, folk, and nation before joining Nanci Griffith in 1993 within her backing music group to get a two-month globe tour. It had been on that extend of street that she became close with fellow musician and soon-to-be hubby/collaborator Pete Kennedy. The set eventually started playing and documenting together beneath the name the Kennedys, crafting catchy, Celtic-infused, Americana-laced folk-pop. After effectively launching their tenth record in 2008, the duo got per year off to focus on solo materials. The ensuing Parade of Echoes, Maura Kennedy’s single debut, came on January 19, 2010.
