Matthew Ryan

An alt-country singer/songwriter within the vein of Josh Rouse and Ryan Adams, Matthew Ryan funnels his rasped vocals and passionate lyrics right into a regular blast of somber, melancholic albums. Blessed in Chester, PA, the youthful Ryan took motivation from such performers as U2, the Substitutes, and Leonard Cohen. He transferred to Delaware and logged many years in some bands before putting your signature on with A&M Information as a single musician in 1996.
