Matteo Vallicelli is a Berlin-based Italian musician who makes tense, eerie ambient and minimal synth compositions. Vallicelli originally produced his name as part of Rome’s underground punk picture, drumming for many bands including Wise Cops and Wildmen. In 2013, he transferred to the Kreuzberg region of Berlin and started experimenting with digital instruments and pc editing. He toured as the drummer for the Soft Moon and Loss of life Index, but he continuing to build up his solo digital sound. In 2017, Captured Monitors (also home towards the Soft Moon) released Vallicelli’s debut single LP Primo.
