Chicago singer/songwriter Matt Marque produces understated indie pop with an focus on smart lyrics and deft guitar playing. His initial discharge was a homemade, cassette-only assortment of music known as Lightbulb, Fork, String. In 2001, he was agreed upon to the Truckstop label and released MAKE IT HAPPEN. Three years afterwards, Marque released the follow-up, 2004’s exceptional Nothing Personal, once again on Truckstop.
