Matrimony

Formed in ’09 2009, Matrimony can be an indie folk-pop family strap from Charlotte, NEW YORK fronted by Charlotte indigenous Ashlee Hardee Dark brown (vocals/tips) and her spouse, Irish expat Jimmy Dark brown (vocals/guitar). The music group also contains Ashlee’s two brothers, C.J. Hardee (mandolin/banjo) and Jordan Hardee (drums). After relocating from Belfast to America, Jimmy Dark brown discovered himself in Charlotte, playing in a variety of bands and operating like a single designer. After playing some displays with each one of the Hardee brothers, he was launched to their more youthful sister Ashlee and both strike it off. Instead of continuing to go after their own single tasks, Ashlee and Jimmy made a decision to get together, playing like a duo in local clubs and pubs. This year 2010 they documented an EP, The Surprise and the attention, and C.J. and Jordan officially became a member of the music group, completing their lineup. More than the next 2 yrs, the band strike the road, posting phases with everyone from Langhorne Slim to Enthusiasm Pit. In 2012, they going to Nashville to begin with focus on their 1st LP with maker Jay Joyce (Brandi Carlile, Cage the Elephant), ultimately inking a cope with Columbia Information. Released in-may 2014, their debut recording, Montibello Memories, is known as following the Hardees’ house.
