Matchbox Bluesband

Created in Frankfurt, Germany, within the mid-80s, the strap became extremely popular within the national blues circuit. The four users, Klaus ‘Mojo’ Kilian (vocals, harmonica, slip acoustic guitar), Bernd Simon (vocals/acoustic guitar), Detlef Schmidt (bass), and George Viel (drums), had been still performing collectively in the brand new millennium. The Matchbox Bluesband’s stage displays consist of presentations that track the history from the blues from its roots to the blooming from the Chicago metropolitan blues scene from the 50s. The quartet shows considerable skills and knowledge of the genre where they perform with flair and self-confidence.
