Masters Of The Hemisphere

Athens, Georgia-based indie pop combo Experts from the Hemisphere were founded in 1996 by performers/songwriters Sean Rawls and Bren Mead, longtime close friends who by senior high school were already veterans of some rings including Jasper’s Arm, Vetran, Volcano Clutch, Eat Grain on Fri, and Linus, most of them documented on cassettes released via the teenager duo’s Everybody’s Putting on Them label. When Mead’s family members relocated to New Mexico, he and Rawls continuing writing and documenting independently, planning for a divide cassette for Kindercore, Nasal area Plug, which continues to be unreleased; ultimately reuniting in Athens, they produced Masters from the Hemisphere with Kindercore key Ryan Lewis on drums (afterwards replaced with the Mendoza Line’s Jeff Griggs). After debuting using the EP Heading on a Trek to Iceland, the group extended to some quartet by adding multi-instrumentalist Adrian Finch; the Experts’ self-titled full-length LP implemented in 1999, along with a calendar year afterwards, the group released I Am Not really a Freemdoom, an ambitious concept record released using a comic publication. IN-MAY of 2010 the music group performed a reunion display in Athens and spent ten times recording a fresh album, Maybe THEY ARE the Breaks. It had been released by Magic Marker in Oct of 2011.
