Mary McBride

Given birth to in Louisiana but elevated within the Washington, D.C., region, Mary McBride required to music young. After shifting to NY, the musician started performing where so when she could, whether on the road or within the city’s countless subway corridors. Her shows later relocated to Brownies, Mercury Lounge, the Bowery Ballroom, and Joe’s Pub. Gaining a more substantial following after several gigs, McBride was in comparison to Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, and Lucinda Williams. After getting agreed upon to Bogan Information, McBride inserted the studio room to record her debut record. Everything Seemed Alright premiered in July 2002. This is implemented a month-long tour referred to as the Five Borough Tour. This is a free of charge tour throughout NY that featured many particular guests. McBride provides opened up for Fred Eaglesmith, Marah, and Maria Muldaur, amongst others. She’s also co-written with Dan Baird, Mojo Nixon, and Eric Ambel.
