Marty Gold

Space-age pop arranger and composer Marty Precious metal was created December 26, 1915 in NEW YORK; after spending the first years of his profession like a big-band pianist, through the early 1950s he became a studio room arranger at Decca Information, and in addition authored the Four Aces’ 1951 smash “Inform Me Why.” Yellow metal later on jumped to RCA, where he collaborated on some LPs from the Three Suns; he also organized and conducted several classes for Peter Nero. For RCA and its own affiliate marketers Vik and X, Yellow metal and his orchestra documented some LPs — included in this Organized for Hi-Fi, Stereo system Actions Goes Hollywood, Soundpower! Music towards the Restricts of Audibility and Soundaroundus — very much valued by today’s enthusiasts of space-age lounge-pop.
