Martiria

Rome, Italy’s Martiria was initially formed in 1987 by guitarist/keyboardist Andy “Menario” Menarini, split up in 1998, reformed circa 2001, but didn’t actually record their initial record, The Eternal Spirit, until 2004. At that time group had progressed from a doom audio inspired by Dark Sabbath and Candlemass into an daring, progressive/classic metal design similar to Rainbow, and been through many membership changes before the appearance of vocalist Rick Martin Anderson (ex-Warlord), bassist Derek Maniscalco, and drummer Maurizio Capitini. The foursome came back using a sophomore record entitled Age the Come back in 2005.
