Marsilio Casentini

This Italian composer and singer was the maestro of songs on the Cathedral of Gemona and a teacher. He made up several sectarina dramatic functions, and four books of madrigals for 5 and 6 voices. Casentini utilized the music of Croce in a few of his functions and shown an understanding of the brand new designs in music specially the concertato — single voices/parts contrasted having a chorus or band of music artists.
