Marshall Styler

Marshall Styler was raised in his birthplace of Rochester, NY, the grandson of the vaudeville pianist and used the piano himself when he was 12. By age 15, he previously come up with his first music group to try out jazz, but turned to rock and roll & roll, also to the electrical piano, following the Uk Invasion. In 1967, he produced the psychedelic group Lincoln Zephyr, which opened up for Jimi Hendrix. Styler briefly transferred to California, after that came back to Rochester, where, using his name of Marshall Wayne Styler, he founded the hard rock-band Duke Jupiter, that he offered as co-lead vocalist, main songwriter, and keyboardist, in 1973. The group released seven albums on main brands between 1978 and 1985, only 1 which, 1984’s White colored Knuckle Ride, produced the graphs. (In addition they had two graph singles, “I’ll Drink for you” in 1982 and “Small Woman” in 1984, both compiled by Styler.) “NOT Take a look at Me LIKE THIS,” which Styler wrote for the recording Duke Jupiter 1 (in fact their 4th LP), was included in Meats Loaf on his 1983 recording Midnight in the Shed and Found out. Duke Jupiter split up in 1986, and Styler relocated to Austin, TX, where he flipped from rock and roll to modern music. He released Camden Street, his first single recording of instrumental items performed on synthesizers, in 1991. In 1995, he documented Bluefields, the to begin a trilogy of albums reflecting on, as he place it, “my impressions of individuals and locations in Texas I’ve come to learn and cherished since crossing the Crimson River for the very first time in 1986.” The next album within the series was Mockingbird Train station, in 1996, as well as the trilogy was finished by Crimson River Crossing in 1998. (In 2005, the three albums had been packed and released collectively as a package set.) For the time being, Styler documented a Christmas recording, Silent Night time, released in 1997.
