Markus Becker

German pianist Markus Becker was students of Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and was mentored by Alfred Brendel. He gained the International Brahms Competition in Hamburg in 1987. Becker provides performed music in the Baroque period to the present day era, in addition to jazz. He’s a frequent visitor artist at main music events, like the Ruhr Piano Celebration, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Celebration, as well as the Kissinger Sommer. He provides appeared using the BBC Country wide Orchestra of Wales, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, in addition to other orchestras. Becker is a professor on the Hanover Academy for Music, Theater, and Mass media since 1993, and he provides lectures on the International Music Academy for Soloists in Hanover. He documented the entire piano functions of Potential Reger on Thorofon, that he received the German Record Award in 2000.
