A local of Slovenia, Marko Letonja studied piano and performing on the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. Pursuing his research with conductor Otmar Suitner on the Academy for Music and Movie theater in Vienna, Letonja continued to become music movie director from the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra from 1991 to 2003. He became music movie director and key conductor of Movie theater Basel in 2003, which started an interval of extreme activity in neuro-scientific opera, with shows on the Grand Théâtre in Geneva, the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, the Semperoper in Dresden, La Scala, the Staatsoper in Berlin, and various other venues. Outdoors opera, he provides executed many concerts with worldwide orchestras, like the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Western world Australian Symphony Orchestra. Since 2012, Letonja provides served as the principle conductor from the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg so that as the principle conductor and creative movie director from the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
